Robotic Lawn Mowers

Robomower Fully-Automated Lawn Mower Designed to Mow the Lawn By Itself!

As a contractor and a dealer of Robotic mowers I regularly go into customers gardens, and see them struggling to keep on top of there garden, especially, in the spring and early summer, when everything is growing extremely quickly. Many people think it seems a good idea to by a ride on mower for there lawn or even spending money on a quality walk behind rotary mower, not realising how time consuming this can be and also trying to beat the weather. I have often been called upon, to bring in a contractors machine, where a lawn has very quickly gone out of control. If you have has these problems before or simply do not enjoy cutting your lawn Robomow could be the answer.

The Robomow is a fully automatic lawnmower, designed to take the hard work out of lawn mowing, once the initial straight forward set up has been achieved, Robowmow can cut your lawn for you, whenever you wish, two, three or however many times a week you require your lawn to be cut.

How does Robomow Work?

Robomow requires a one time simple set-up, which can be easily done by the majority of people, although most dealers do offer a set up service if the customer requires this. A wire is laid around the outer edges of the lawn, and attached to the surface of the lawn with pegs every few meters. The wire and pegs are supplied with the Robomow. The wire is connected to the Base Station or to a small battery powered current source called Perimeter Switch (also supplied with Robomow). Typically the wire will be covered by grass and become unnoticeable in a matter of 2-3 weeks. Robomow recognizes the wire using a special sensor, and makes sure it always stays inside the designated area.

Robomow will automatically depart at the days and times scheduled and automatically return to the Base Station to recharge and get ready for the next scheduled operation. The weekly program can be re-set at any time, if and when required. Robomow will mow the lawn several times from side to side to ensure that the entire yard is covered and the grass is cut from several angles.

How does it cut the grass?

The two larger Robomow's feature a battery powered three blade, 21" (53 cm) powerful cutting system equivalent to a 5.5 HP petrol mower. Robomow is a dedicated mulching mower that mulches better than a traditional mower thanks to its Triple-Chamber-Mulching system and the 5800-RPM blade speed, double that of a typical gas mower. Grass is cut into very small clippings that are buried in the roots of the lawn, where they decompose and act like a natural fertilizer, helping to keep your lawn green throughout the mowing season. With regular cutting using Robomow results in a healthier and better-looking lawn, and eliminates the need to collect and remove the clippings.
