JUST BOUGHT AND IT IS EVERYTHING THAT WE HAVE COME TO EXPECT FROM MAKITA THE ENGINE I HAVE BEEN TOLD IS MADE BY ROBBIN SO NO PROBLEMS THERE VERY LIGHT TO HOLD EVEN FOR MY WIFE (BONUS)VERY POWERFUL AND EASY TO FILL WITH UNLEADED AND NORMAL ENGINE OIL GOT MINE FROM HIRE SHOP PAYED £20 MORE THAN OTHERS BUT CAME FILLED WITH OIL +PETROL AND THESE GUYS ONLY SELL STUFF THEY WILL USE TO HIRE OUT SO MUST BE RELIABLE AND COST EFFECTIVE TO THEM ONLY OTHER 4* PETROL BLOWER SEEMS TO BE A HONDA WHICH APPEARS TO HAVE A VACUME PROBLEM CAUSING IT TO CUT OUT BUT NOT WITH THIS MACHINE IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A PETROL BLOWER THEN THIS IS WELL WORTH IT .ONE DOWNSIDE AGAINST IT BEING PETROL IS THAT YOU HAVE TO KEEP THESE MACHINES LEVEL WHEN USING OTHERWISE I HAVE BEEN TOLD THE OIL OR PETROL WILL GO ONTO THE EXHAUST AND SMOKE WHEREHAS WITH A 2 STROKE YOU CAN TIP IT TO VIRTUALLY ANY ANGLE AND NOT HAVE THIS PROBLEM THAT IS WHY SO MANY CONSTRUCTION TOOLS ARE 2 STROKE BUT TIME WILL NO DOUBT REMEDY THIS. TO CONCLUDE IF YOU ARE IN THE MARKET FOR A LEAF BLOWER WITH A SEPERATELY COSTING VACUME ATTACHMENT THEN I CAN CERTAINLY RECCOMEND THE MAKITA .
