Chassis
The hydro 144 has two tubular chassis bolted together for strength and durability.

The hydro 144 is powered by a 25hp, 3 cylinder, water-cooled Lombardini FOCS 1003 diesel engine.
Mulching deck
The Biocut mulching system’s specially profiled blade and dome shaped deck retain the cut grass, chopping it into fine particles then blasting them into the sward to decompose naturally.
Transmission
The transmission to the cutter heads is through an angled gearbox and a single-sided notched belt.
Cutting blade control
The blades are engaged through an electromagnetic clutch, with blade brake.
Long-life
For long-life, reliability and trouble free operation, hydraulics are used throughout. Three blades and three belts are the only moving parts on the machine.

The steering console is fully adjustable up or down, forward and back.
Seat
The suspension seat with arm rests is fully adjustable for total operator comfort and has backwards and forwards adjustment.
Good visibility
The forward driving position provides the operator with excellent all-round visibility.

Smooth power steering ensures easy-manoeuvrability and minimises operator fatigue.
